Desert Rain is a country with a mixture of traditional and contemporary influences. It has a culture rich in history, hospitality, and vibrant colours. God loves the people of Desert Rain, but most do not know him. 

Come see and hear how Jesus is already at work. Participate with him, invest in meaningful friendships, learn a new culture, and walk more deeply with God. 

Why Desert Rain?

The Holy Spirit is moving in this part of the world, bringing water to a parched land. Many people have been disillusioned by religion, yet are still left unsatisfied when they turn to secularism. Most have never heard for themselves the truth of Jesus Christ. They are searching for answers with curiosity, and God is revealing himself through dreams, his Word, and people like you.

How will we engage in God’s work?

Our desire is to come alongside our long-term partnership and provide opportunities to develop genuine friendships with local students. In this highly relational culture, we get to learn together as we engage cross-culturally. A typical weekly schedule will include elements of team-building, Bible study, cultural learning, time spent with friends, prayer, mentorship, rest, and adventure.
